ASSOCIATION OF FACULTY AND FRIENDS (AFF)

Our History and Our Mission:

Supports Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Penn State College of Medicine through a scholarship endowment established in support of the mission of AFF which is to enhance patient care services, medical research, community outreach, and healthcare provider scholarships.

Founded in 1968, the group consists of faculty and staff at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and College of Medicine as well as dedicated community members.

Activities include sponsoring lifesaving blood drives, supporting local food banks including the Lion’s Pantry as well as the Palliative Care Patient Support Fund.

The AFF provides a community of friendship to our members through several vibrant interest groups.

Funds raised over the past 57 years have continued to support the following:

Medical and Graduate Student Scholarships
3rd Year Medical Student Humanitarian Award
Department of Nursing-Advanced Practice Award
Department of Nursing -Community Service Award

Funds that have been raised through the efforts of the AFF have been given in support of programs including:
